Bring Back Duels

According to the Panama Post, José "Pepe" Mujica Ex-President of Uruguay wants to bring back duels.
He said, "There should be a law that would allow people to settle conflicts with a gunshot - There are things that can be fixed that way that could not otherwise be settled."
The former president said sometimes dialogue is not viable. Speaking is easy but a gunshot settles the matter.
When someone touches on your honor, and goes on and on and on, how can you fix it? That's the only way. I can't handle a sword because I'm an old man, but I could fire a couple of shots at least.
Duels laws were abolished in 1992. Would Mujica fare well. Unknown.
But what Mujica is talking about partakes of libertarian justice. The libertarian idea taken to its logical conclusion involves private justice not government justice,
The idea is that government justice is easily perverted and overly expensive. Private justice as necessary could be the preferable method.
It would be interesting to find out if Mujica would take the concept further
